Meet the 9in|9out Event Organizers

9in|9out started – like many great things – over a cup of coffee.

Jackie and Natalie started 9in|9out in Madison, WI after finding a shared enthusiasm for the wonderful range of providers trying to make postpartum better, and frustration over lack of timely awareness about available services.

After several successful parent and baby expos, they are ready to take their expos to parents and expecting mothers across the country!

Jackie Cook is a parent of 2 and the owner of Popins. She brings 15+ yrs experience managing large projects & implementations in Healthcare IT.

Natalie Fay is the owner of Sound Sleepers by Natalie Fay. She has 10+ yrs experience working in postpartum & caregiving.

These Values Are Behind Everything We Do

Service

Our events are designed to serve new and expecting parents by raising awareness of local expert resources, so they can navigate parenthood with confidence. Parents have the opportunity to shop for their village and choose resources that feel right for their family.

Connection

We started our baby expos to create a space where parents can connect with local experts, share experiences, and build a supportive community during the life-changing journey of growing their family. We give pregnancy & postpartum experts space to connect with each other, building professional networks, strengthening ties across the community, and therefore better supporting families.

Growth

We approach our work with a growth mindset, to connect more families with the resources they need across more communities. In order to raise the standard of care for babies and new parents in our communities, we partner with a local non-profit serving new families to give back for each event.

Purpose

We launched this expo to fulfill our purpose of empowering parents with knowledge and tools that will positively impact their families’ lives. We aim to inspire parents to center their wellness as they grow their families, by connecting them to the resources they need for a happy & healthy birth & postpartum experience.
